## Source substitutions and display changes

- The supplied `Rolex_201x_logo.svg` page was unavailable. The replacement is the Commons crown-and-wordmark artwork above, not the crownless Rolex wordmark.
- Original Breitling and Audemars SVG download endpoints returned HTTP 429 rate-limit responses. Commons' own image previews were used instead. The Audemars replacement has a documented Commons file page and includes the AP symbol.
- Downloaded source files are retained as delivered. CSS normalizes their display to white/silver. A code-native SVG color-matrix filter renders the artwork white/silver and removes white preview backgrounds at display time while preserving source transparency. Empty margins of the square AP preview are cropped by its display slot; the complete logo artwork and slogan remain visible. Symbols and lettering are not redrawn or substituted.
- Breitling display-color changes are identified here and in the site's Impressum. Any copyrightable adaptation of that logo is offered under CC BY-SA 4.0. This does not relicense the whole website.

## Trademark notice

Breitling, Rolex, Montblanc, Tudor and Audemars Piguet names, symbols and logos remain trademarks of their respective owners. A public-domain copyright label or CC license does not grant trademark permission or establish dealer status, endorsement or affiliation. Any required trademark/advertising authorization for the actual commercial use must be confirmed by the operator before publication. No such authorization was independently verified during this task.
